Zoe-perry

Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first appearance was in television shows in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in her role on the ABC comedy Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to start acting with her parents till she reached adulthood, as they feared the anxiety it could cause. Perry claims she never wanted to be an actor in high school but decided to take up acting as a social activity while at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry had the opportunity to secure minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. However, her homesickness brought her back to California to return, where she started working on stage. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 In 2015, she appeared alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. In 2017, Perry played a supporting role in the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. She also played the younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was which is a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. She was cast in the role by auditioning for an open role despite being connected to the persona.
