Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002, has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she eventually, she lost the interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Prior to selling the company it took her 18 years building it into an extremely successful business. The cookbooks were followed by many more as well as magazine columns which came later. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous success. In addition, she sells everything from cooking equipment to items and even containers. Ina is an aspiring cook who has never gone to a cooking academy, nor worked in an kitchen. Her relaxed approach to entertaining as well as her simple cooking style are well known.
