Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter from St. Louis Missouri. She is most well-known for her part in the CW TV series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as the main singer of The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on films and television shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, is the daughter of older siblings Sloane Momsen. She trained in dance in the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. At just 3 years old Momsen was a professional actor in a Shake 'n Bake commercial for national television. Momsen's acting career came to a slow halt for three years until she received a lead role in Misconceptions, a WB show Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared at the moment in Saving Shiloh (2006). She auditioned as well for the lead role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three, but the part was awarded the role to Miley Cyrus.
