Lita Rossana Ford is born in Britain and was an American guitarist, vocalist, and writer. In the latter part of the 70s, she was the lead guitar for the hard-rocking All-girl group The Runaways. Although the band did not have much success in the United States but they enjoyed huge popularity in other countries. This was especially true in Japan. Ford's solo heavy metal career proved successful following the group break-up. She began to take voice lessons and then released her first album "Out for Blood" and then "Dancin" in the Edge. Her albums weren't very popular and she went on hiatus for a couple of years. In 1988, she returned to the world of music by releasing a dazzling album titled "Lita. Kiss Me Deadly (single) as well as Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were two of her most popular hit songs. However, her success was only temporary and she was absent from the music industry for many decades. In 1995, she released "Black," and 15 years later 'Wicked Wonderland. In 2016, she released her latest studio album "Time Capsule". Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
