Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. Her desire to be an artist was influenced from her childhood as a member of a New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international success, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies, she became the top female box-office star in the entire world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
